Duke Infection Control Outreach Network (DICON) is pleased to offer member institutions online training courses developed at Duke University Hospital. To access courses on this website, you must first obtain a Group Key from the training coordinator at your institution or from the DICON Training Coordinator. Once you signup and create your New User Account, you can use your Group Key to join your institution's group and see a listing of available course for your institution.

Step by step instructions for new users:

  1. Click on Signup in the upper right hand corner
    1. Add your name and your email address
    2. Please use your full email for you Username (The system may suggest the first part of your email address, just overwrite this)
    3. Create a password
    4. List your credentials as you wish them to appear on your certificate
    5. Enter you Institution
    6. Street Address: include either your home or the hospital’s address
  2. Create an account
  3. Submit
  4. Look for confirmation email in your inbox
  5. Confirm your account by clicking on the provided email link
  6. Accept terms of service
  7. Navigate to the home page and click Join Group Join Group
  8. Enter the Group Key you obtained from your training coordinator or Dicon
  9. Return to home page
  10. Click on the course you wish to complete
  11. Start Course

 Step by step instructions for Returning User who forgot their password or an existing user who has been requested to reset your password due to the creation of the new DICON website

  1. Click on Login in the upper right hand corner
  2. In the dialogue box, enter your user name which is your email address
  3. Click on ? next to password line to indicate you forgot your password
  4. In the next dialogue box, enter your email address and request new password
  5. Look for email in your inbox and follow instructions to reset your password (be sure to check your spam folder)
  6. Follow the link back to website and reset your password
  7. On the home page, click on training courses you wish to complete
  8. Start course.
